I have student loans which state that I must be enrolled at least half time (6 hours) to keep my loans in deferment. I am a continuing education student. I’m dropping below full time for the first time. I will be taking 6 hours this summer and 7 this fall. My question is does it make a difference if I am continuing ed or a regular student? I think it should count since I’m taking the same number of hours but I am not sure. I can’t find anything about it on the loan companies websites.
