Friday, March 26th, 2010
Zoren M asked:

Hello there,

I’m a 34yo adult male came from south east asia and migrated to the US 4 yrs ago. I’d like to continue my education but somehow I do not know where to start. The worst case, my last education background was in high school with lower grades. However, I have many years working experience in clerical duties. My interests is to take a business school that will lead to MBA. What should I take in order for me to materialize my dreams. I heard about SAT, do you think I should take that? Thanks in advance for your help! Peace!

Insurance Continuing Education California

Thursday, March 25th, 2010
edward hulse asked:

There are some states in which insurance laws are quite easy to understand and there are some states in which it’ll take a bit of time. Actually that depends on the kind of insurance products the state needs, and California has some products you will not see anywhere else in the country!

For instance, there is Life & Fire casualty, which is a whole different genre of insurance, and we won’t find it in many American states. What are common to most of the other states are Life & health, and Property & casualty courses.

Why we are mentioning these differences here is because these form the basics for insurance continuing education California. Since insurance is one of those fields which mandates compulsory training and re-certification periodically, continuing education is quite a big industry. In the recent years, the preferred mode of insurance continuing education California has been online. A large percentage of agents in the state choose to do their courses and take their exams online, as it is extremely convenient and also very economical when compared to the fees at a local insurance school.

In California, the number of required courses also is higher than the ones in most of the other states in America. While some states have just one required courses, most have 2-3 topics that are required. However, California has five topics which need to be taken during each recertification period, and that again is different from other states. Here, a new licensee in insurance would need to complete 25 hours of insurance continuing education every year for the first four years, and then 30 hours every two years. Then there are the specialties. For example, agents who sell long term care insurance policies are required to attend 8 hours of a special long term care module once every two years, and the rest of the training hours can be of any topic the agent chooses.

Like we mentioned in the first sentence of this article, there are some complex laws here, right?

But in the long run, this continuing education will pay rich dividends to each agent, as their knowledge on the field is much higher compared to many other states’ agents. Since training is so crucial here, online California insurance continuing education is growing in popularity each year. The money saved per year here will amount to much in the long run. To give you an illustration, online courses just cost about $ 1 per hour, payable after passing the exam! Find out how much it would cost at your local academy.

I recommend doing your insurance continuing education online. It is fast, easy, and affordable these days. It is also more convenient than going to a classroom and spending your weekends learning about CE. Do it on your own time and your own pace from the comfort of your home. California insurance continuing education is very important, because you do not want to lose your license or receive any fines from the state.

Insurance Continuing Education Illinois

Friday, March 19th, 2010
edward hulse asked:

The rules that govern continuing education in different states are quite different, and there are a lot of changes in the way CE is treated in various states. For instance, a state like Maine might require just one compulsory course - Insurance Ethics, while a state like California might require five different topics to be covered, failing which the license would not be renewed.

In Illinois State, there are two required courses

1.Flood Insurance Training, and

2.Long Term Care Insurance Partnership Plan.

Apart from them, there are various kinds of insurance optionals which can be chosen as per the advisor’s interest. These optional courses can be broadly classified into life & health courses, and property and casualty courses. Since most insurance advisors anyway specialize in one of these kinds of insurance modules, it makes absolute sense to divide them into two categories and name them as optional. However, the compulsory subjects above are common for all kinds of insurance advisors.

Earlier, advisors had to head down to their nearest authorized insurance training institute and relearn the concepts in order to keep their certifications active and their licenses valid. However, with the advent of the internet, it is now possible to get Illinois Insurance Continuing Education certificates right from your home. The number of hours for each course has already been prescribed, and the material has been put online by the best authorized certification portals. All certifications from those sites are valid according to state laws as they are sourced from a reputed training and certification company.

The best part about Insurance continuing education Illinois is that it is quite economical when compared to the fees charged by an institute. While an advisor might spend a couple of hundred dollars on re-certification every couple of years, online, it might just cost him a few dollars! Think about the kind of savings which happen in the long run! For instance, one of the internet’s leading insurance continuing education sites charges about $ 1 per hour; and for a compulsory course like Flood Insurance training, the cost would be just $ 3 (as the course is a 3 hour one). What’s more; the course can be read free of cost and the exam can be taken free of cost. Only when the advisor passes the examination will he have to pay the fees of $ 3 so that the certificate can be issued! Beat that if you can - anywhere in Illinois!

Illinois insurance continuing education is also very important to gain knowledge of new laws, rules, and regulations for the agent. Stay current so you can suggest the best products and services for your clients. If you stop learning, they will find a knowledgeable agent that hasn’t. We suggest doing your insurance continuing education in Illinois online. Because of how fast, easy, and affordable it is, most agents use this source to gain all of their required insurance CE hours every two years. Complete your CE hours online today from your couch!

CPA Continuing Education- Online Accounting Courses

Friday, March 19th, 2010
Umair Sidd asked:

Many professional careers require further education beyond the initial training and licensing. Some careers will offer a license that is essentially good forever, but this is rare in most industries. Things change, and in order to be the best at your career, you need to be able to get the CPA continuing education that you need on a regular basis so that you are informed about the latest and most critical changes and trends in accounting. There are many ways that you can take classes, but the internet is often the preferred source for today’s CPA continuing education seekers.

The internet makes training easier than ever before. You can do everything at your own pace and on your own time, allowing you to get the CPA continuing education that you need without having to make time in your busy schedule or worry about excessive traveling when you’re not able or willing to do so. You can learn the same things that you would learn in a typical course, but from the comfort of home and often for a much more affordable cost. There are a few things to keep in mind, though.

-Make sure you find a reliable and credible CPA continuing education provider. There are so many different services out there, and they are not all created equally. You need to do whatever it takes to make the most of your business, and don’t allow yourself to settle for less than the best.

-Track your continuing education requirements and accomplishments so that you don’t take the same course twice. In many instances, you will have to learn certain things at certain times, which means that you have to pay careful attention to the courses that you choose.

-Don’t take this training for granted. Many people think that they can wait until the last minute and squeeze in their CPA continuing education at once. Instead, as soon as your license renews, you should be figuring out a schedule to space out your training over the license period so that you aren’t cramming at the end or missing the deadline.

CPA continuing education courses online are a great choice for many. You will learn all of the same things at your own pace and whenever you’re able to study. You don’t have to drop everything to attend some class and you won’t have travel expenses to worry about. All of these things add up to make online CPA continuing education courses the perfect choice for anyone who needs to get their education requirements met quickly and efficiently.

Online Insurance Continuing Education Classes

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010
edward hulse asked:

The internet has impacted our lives in more ways than we can count. We are not just talking about the convenience of shopping online or the money saved each time we transact online banking. The biggest thing the internet has given us is flexibility, and one classic example is online insurance continuing education classes.

Insurance is a field that involves a lot of knowledge up-gradation, and till a few years ago, it was required that agents head down to their local insurance training centre and spend a few hours each year as was mandated by the law of their state and get recertified so their license could be extended. But it was quite inconvenient for a lot of people, and there are thousands of agents who lost out on their licenses because they could not make time out of their schedule and attend the classes.

After the internet took over the field of online insurance continuing education, however, the dropout percentage has come down drastically, thanks to the flexibility offered. Now, advisors can log on at any time from any place, and finish the subjects they are required to train on. Not only can they do the course online, but they can also take the test online, and get certified instantly! We know of the best online insurance continuing education classes portal which does not charge any money for agents to read the material and attempt the test. Only when the agents finish the test and pass do they need to pay the fees; and that too is only a small fraction of what one would need to shell out at an insurance academy. Example, to take the mandatory ‘Advanced Annuities’ module under California insurance law, it would cost an agent just $ 4 to read through the material (which is provided by the portal), take the test, and get certified! Compare that with what an insurance school would charge, and you know the amount of savings each module passes on to the agent.

It is very important to look into online insurance continuing education to fulfill all of your state requirements for insurance CE. You do not want to incur any state fines or penalties against your license. The last thing you want is the state to revoke your license and possibly your career and way of living! You also want to stay continuing your education for your clients. If you can’t advise them on different products and services, then who can?

Another reason why insurance CE (continuing education) online is so popular is because of the wide range of modules that can be chosen. Since training in insurance is an ongoing thing, a wide range of modules would let an agent choose new stuff each time they come into training. Not only will they avoid boredom, but will also keep upgrading their knowledge, and that’ll come in handy when they go out into the field. Check out a portal of the genre, and you will agree with us.
